Buick's range-topping Avenir trim level is spreading throughout the lineup after its debut last year, and the brand's Regal sedan is the latest recipient of this treatment. Buick says that half of all Regal Sportback buyers are opting for the top trim level, so it makes sense to offer the Avenir on the Regal sedan.
What does Avenir add to the Regal?
Diamond-quilted front seats, embroidered first-row headrests and a Whisper beige interior theme with ebony accents, for starters. On the outside, the Avenir trim is best distinguished by the three-dimensional mesh upper grille, inspired by Buick's concept cars, exclusive 19-inch pearl nickel wheels and script badging on the doorsills and the exteriors of the front doors.
A whole host of safety and convenience features including LED headlamps with auto leveling, rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, lane change alert with side blind zone alert and cornering lamps and driver side auto-dimming mirrors are standard on this trim level. Navigation, wireless charging and a Bose eight-speaker premium audio system are also standard items. Buick will also offer advanced adaptive cruise control as an option on the Avenir version of the Regal.
