Even the glorious Ferrari F40 needs gas (stars, they’re just like us!), and the resulting photos started a debate here at One Autoweek Tower over the timelessness (or lack thereof) of this vintage supercar's lines. We’re going with a resounding yes on the F40's continuing coolness.
The styling of the 478-hp F40 — as eye-popping a number in 1987 as 840 is in today’s horsepower wars — places it squarely in the 1980s … or early '90s (which looked a lot like the '80s. See: Bon Jovi, circa 1992). But 30 years later, Ferrari’s world beater holds up surprisingly well.
