We've always been fans of open-top motoring here at Autoweek, even when that cabriolet is a 145-hp V6 ponycar. We said it has an efficient dash "despite miniscule radio buttons." The LX did, however, outperform the GT in the slalom because of its light nose.
"Sure, it may lack something in the excitement category. But the Mustang's attributes more than make up for it. For those who desire a domestic convertible, the V6 Mustang is worth considering."
