Free Mopar teen driving experience comes to metro Detroit in May

1 min read

Mopar is offering a complimentary driving experience for teens May 6-7 in metro Detroit. Drivers age 15-19 can bring a legal guardian to Center Line, Mich., for a one-time teen driving event with certified instructors. The Mopar Road Ready experience has partnered with the NHRA Motorsports Museum and B.R.A.K.E.S. (be responsible and keep everyone safe) for the event.

Teens will learn about defensive driving — something we should all probably do more of — as well as accident avoidance, an off-road recovery exercise, distraction exercises, panic stops and car control, in a controlled, safe environment. The four-hour class also reviews basic driving topics like proper seating position and hand position. It will also include a safety presentation by a state police officer.
