The sixth-generation Corvette was an uptick in the 'Vette's performance. That performance surge was punctuated with the return of the ZR1 model. Despite that, Chevrolet needed to constantly improve, and there were rumors that the next-generation would move the engine behind the driver. That didn't happen, but the C7 did usher the return of the popular Stingray nameplate, and we're still enjoying this world-class sports car today.
