For the 2003 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, five of the alleged six original Corvette Grand Sport race cars assembled on the green. These race cars weren’t wildly successful, avoiding a world championship during their time on the track, but proved good enough go 1-2 in class in the 1964 running at Sebring. Regardless of championship trophies, these 'Vettes are honest reminders of how far Chevrolet has come with the Corvette's racing program.
