"Between a race car and a road car is a Roush car" was the tagline for Roush in the early 2000s. Our man Larry Edsall got a shot behind the wheel of the ponycar, which eclipsed even the SVT Cobra's 320 hp. Yes, the modular 4.6-liter V8 pumped out 375 lb-ft of torque to go along with 360 hp.

Will anyone pay up to $50,000 for a Mustang, we asked? Roush already had orders, along with 225 dealers lined up to sell 'em.
