Reeves Callaway put himself on the Corvette map with his legendary SledgeHammer ‘Vettes, but he didn’t stop there. The Callaway C12 was based on the Z06 version of C5 ‘Vette, but took it to the next level. Callaway widened the track by six-inches and brought the 5.7-liter LS6 up to 6.2-liters. That makes for a more powerful and more stable sports car, that is edging close to supercar territory.
