Reddit user Supercars Official posted an incredible shot of the Porsche 918’s engine cover, exhaust and tiny back window. Along with jokes about the car being the next-gen last-gen Nissan Sentra, posters talked the Porsche’s tiny rear window. The window is just small enough to let the rear-view mirror see the world behind you, which is basically just exhaust and wings.
As we saw with our last dive into the Porsche 918, the 4.6-liter V8 shoots its exhaust right behind the passengers. Could Porsche have figured out a different way to route the exhaust, to preserve the rear window space? Probably, but it wouldn’t be nearly as cool.
