John Kerry went on NBC’s “Meet The Press” Sunday to vent his frustration over President Trump’s decision last week to pull out of the Paris climate deal.
In fact, Trump’s plan to perhaps renegotiate a better agreement reminds the former secretary of state of another famous pledge.
‘That’s like O.J. Simpson saying he’s going to go out and find the real killer.’
Kerry was, of course, referring to O.J. Simpson’s vow in 1995 to find the REAL murderer behind the killings of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman.
Kerry went on to explain how “America has ceded global leadership on this issue” despite opposition from several notable names.
“I mean, what does Donald Trump know that Rex Tillerson, the former CEO of Exxon Mobil
doesn’t know?” he asked. “What does he know that the CEO of Apple
of General Electric
of companies all across America … don’t know?”
