White House press secretary Sean Spicer got a surprise visitor at his daily briefing on Wednesday, when the New England Patriots’ star tight end poked his head into the room and made a friendly offer:
‘Hey, Sean. You need some help?’

Spicer gamely replied, “I think I got this, but thank you.” The press secretary, known to be a fan of the team, later observed: “That was cool.”
President Donald Trump is hosting the Super Bowl winners at the White House on Wednesday. But the team is at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, without quarterback Tom Brady, who said he had “personal family matters” to attend to.
The visit comes on the same day that Aaron Hernandez, a former Patriots star, committed suicide in prison.
