Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, and husband of special assistant to the president Ivanka Trump, made a surprise visit to Iraq this week.
Kushner was visiting the country with Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff “on behalf of the president” to express his support to the Iraqi government and U.S. personnel involved in the campaign against ISIS, according to Dunford’s spokesperson.
And one particular photo from the trip really seems to be blowing up the Internet:
The photo was uploaded on Tuesday to Dunford’s Flickr page. Since then, it’s caused an uproar on social media:

In addition to visiting Iraq, Kushner already has a lengthy list of jobs. The 36-year-old, who had never previously held a government job, and has little experience in matters of war and diplomacy, is also head of the Office of American Innovation. He is tasked with a myriad of jobs including overhauling federal bureaucracy, re-imagining Veterans Affairs, fighting opioid abuse and bringing manufacturing back to the U.S.
