It seemingly remains possible that the 49ers select Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson with the No. 2 overall pick April 27 in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
And, allegedly, San Francisco wants Watson to be available.
That is what’s indicated in a report by ProFootballWeekly’s Greg Gabriel, a former scouting director for the Bears.
SF supposedly wants Watson, if Cleveland is actually dumb enough to take Trubisky at 1 then QB’s could go 1,2. Would throw 1st totally off

Speculation on San Francisco taking Watson goes back to January, and it only grows with each interaction and related report.
The 49ers certainly could use another quarterback, considering they only have two on the roster at this time. That doesn’t mean Lynch will select one in the draft, let alone with his prime pick.
But it’s entirely possible the 49ers want Watson.
