OAKLAND — Even with an improved defensive effort, it didn’t matter. Regardless of LeBron James’ godlike performance, the result was still the same.

Golden State’s second straight rout of Cleveland in a 132-113 victory is proving what many had already felt entering the Finals. With Kevin Durant stringing together Finals MVP-like performances early in the series in conjunction with the the best postseason play of Stephen Curry’s career, the Warriors cannot be stopped.

Just like last year, the Warriors hold a 2-0 advantage as they head to Cleveland for Wednesday’s Game 3.

On Bay Area Sports Insiders, Courtney Cronin and Anthony Slater discuss the lift the Warriors’ small lineup provided with Durant’s dominant performance at center, Curry’s third quarter explosion en route to a triple-double, why James – even with a triple-double of his own – couldn’t lift the Cavs without Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson finally getting his groove back with a modest breakout and why Cleveland’s window to stay competitive with the Warriors is closing fast.
